What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file that may be stored on your device when you visit a website. It allows the party that set it to recognise the device for as long as the cookie remains valid. The browser’s local storage and session storage follow the same rules: they are described below along with cookies.

Cookies and storage on this website

This website uses five cookies or browser storage items, only for the functions described below. None is used for advertising and none is shared with a third party.

• mattbnb-espace (cookie, one year): the area you chose, guests or owners, to take you back to it on your next visit.
• mattbnb-theme (local storage, no expiry date): the light or dark theme chosen with the sun and moon button. It is deleted as soon as the website notices that your device has switched mode, light or dark.
• mattbnb-theme-appareil (local storage, same duration as the previous one): your device’s mode when you made that choice, to know when it changes.
• matt_v (cookie, one year, read only by the assistant’s server): set when you open MATT AI while the assistant runs on its artificial intelligence. It is a signed random identifier: it contains neither your name nor your contact details, but it tells your browser apart, so it is a pseudonymous identifier. It is used to limit the number of messages per day and to find your conversation again, never for audience measurement or advertising.
• mattbnb-matt-ai (session storage, for as long as the tab is open): the state of MATT AI and the text of your conversation, as you wrote it, so you can find it again after a reload or a change of language. It disappears when you close the tab.

The website language (French or English) is read from the page address: it is not stored.

Delete your MATT AI conversation

This button immediately deletes the conversation kept in this tab (mattbnb-matt-ai) and closes MATT AI. It does not delete the conversation already stored on our servers: for that, write to matthieu@mattbnb57.com.

Booking engine

The booking module, provided by Amenitiz, may use its own cookies and storage, in particular for the booking session. They are Amenitiz’s and are not described here.

Cookie-free audience measurement

We measure traffic and website speed with Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These tools work without cookies and produce only statistics that do not identify you, so no consent is requested. Details are in our privacy policy.

Clearing browser data

You can also clear this website’s data in your browser settings: your preferences and MATT AI’s memory are then reset. This does not delete a conversation already stored on our servers.
